Hey guys. I've got only few news about Johnny for you. So here we go.

Sweeney Todd awarded again!

Johnny's movie Sweeney Todd won one award at Scream Awards in category 'Best Horror Movie'. Johnny himself was awarded as 'Best Actor in Horror Movie'. Johnny wasn't present at the award ceremony, but Tim Burton was - not only to pick his award for the best movie, but also the Scream Immortal Award - for his unique interpretation of horror and fantasy. But what was special was his arrival! Wow! Just take a look! 

Pirates 4 release date in 2012

That's what 'Coming Soon' was told by Jerry Bruckheimer. The writers, Ted Elliott and Ted Rossio are still working on the story and plotlines. Huh... I think that's really looong time to wait! 

New design

Hey sweethearts! I'm back from the Austria and as you can see I've changed the layout. Hope you like it! I think that the pictures with Johnny as Willy Wonka are really funny, aren't they? Although the design is dark it seems kind of colorfull - like the autumn. Haha... So please, comment! I'm curious to hear your opinion!

Other things that you may have noticed aren't as good as the design change. Since my hostee starszz.com had to make deal with hollywood.com, all websites had to add the toolbar (you can see it at the top of the site) and new ad (it's the ugly bright thing above the news). I was really pissed off by that, especially because of the toolbar - I hate these things! And I was also very dissapointed that I can't change colors of the ad anymore. Wrrr... Let's hope it will change. 

Nevermind... stay tuned to get fresh news about Johnny!

Hey guys. I'm sorry for the lack of updates but I don't feel quite well this time. Hope it gets better. Well... Johnny has been voted as the sexiest man again! For now it was survey in Cosmopolitan.

Jack is back! I've got great news for you, guys! Johnny will star in a fourth ‘Pirates of the Caribbean’ movie! Yes, what we all have been waiting for, has now finally come! Johnny will reprise his role as captain Jack Sparrow. This information was confirmed by Walt Disney Studios chairman Dick Cook. Still, there are no confirmation about other actors that have appeard in previous pirates movies. But who cares? If we can get Jack, we need nothing more. But what we know, is that Keira Knightley (Elizabeth Swann) won't probably take a part in Pirates 4. "I think it was wonderful and an amazing opportunity and those films were just extraordinary and I was extremely lucky to be a part of them. But no. I think my pirating days may be over." she said when asked about another Pirates.

Pirates of the Caribbean 4 are not the only project Johnny will be part of. As I informed you before, Johnny will appear in Tim Burton's 'Alice in Wonderland' (release date should be sometime in 2010) as Mad Hatter and also in 'Lone Ranger' as Tonto. The "Ranger" movie will be produced by Jerry Bruckheimer and all this three movies are Walt Disney's projects. The announcements for 'Lone Ranger', 'Alice in Wonderland' and 'Pirates 4' were made before a crowd of roaring fans in Hollywood when Depp appeared at the Walt Disney Showcase, a preview of the studio's productions over the next few years. Johnny has been dressed up as captain Jack. I've got one picture for you from this event.

Michael Caine seems to confirm Johnny as Riddler

Michael Caine said for MTV: 

“When Christopher Nolan said we were going to do ‘The Dark Knight’ next, I didn’t know what that meant in Batman terms,” related Caine, who plays Bruce Wayne’s loyal butler, Alfred Pennyworth. “I said, ‘What’s the story?’ and he said The Joker. I said, ‘Oh, s–t! How are you going to top Jack Nicholson?’ He said, ‘Well, I’ve cast Heath Ledger. And I went ‘Ha! I couldn’t top Jack, but if anyone could, maybe Heath could.’ And he did.

“I was with a Warner Bros. executive and I said, ‘Are we going to make another one?’ They said yeah. I said, ‘How the hell are we going to top Heath? And he says ‘I’ll tell you how you top Heath — Johnny Depp as The Riddler and Philip Seymour Hoffman as The Penguin.’ I  said, ‘S–t, they’ve done it again!’”  [Laughs] 

Johnny winns again!

Johnny has won a 2008 National Movie Award in the Category of Performance Male for Sweeney Todd. Congrats!

Johnny has also received the George Milies awards in 2007 for "Simply the Best" (for life). His bandmate and friend Bill "Beano" Hanti accepted the awards for Johnny and promised to give the awards to him at this year's Sheila Witkin Concert. Johnny wins a 2008 'SyFy Genre Award' for Best Actor for Sweeney Todd. Congratulations!

Johnny in the Batman movie?

Producers hope to land Johnny Depp to play the villain who is obsessed with riddles, puzzles and word games - The Riddler, according to reports in the US. Frank Gorshin played the Riddler in the 1960s Batman television series and spin-off movie and Jim Carrey took on the character in the 1995 film Batman Forever. Producers are convinced that the role of the Riddler is perfect for Depp. Studio bosses also want Oscar winner Philip Seymour Hoffman to play another of Batman’s enemies, the Penguin. 

Gift to Heath Ledger's daughter

Johnny Depp, Jude Law and Colin Farrel have donated their fee for completing Heath Ledger's final film role to his daughter. The acting trio agreed to play versions of Ledger's character Tim in The Imaginarium of Dr Parnassus following his death in January. And they decided to donate their fees to two-year-old Matilda - Ledger's daughter with actress Michelle Williams - because the star left an old will which did not include the little girl. Director Terry Gilliam has praised the actors for their generosity, saying: "They didn't take money - it goes to Heath's daughter. That's extraordinary! And wonderful... and when you're part of that, you think, 'Ah, this is maybe why I went into the movies in the beginning. I thought it would be full of wonderful people.' And we've got a movie full of wonderful people who did extraordinary things to help."

Johnny rocks in South Florida!

Johnny Depp performed live with his band The Kids at Club Cinema on August 29, 2008 in Pompano Beach, Florida. The concert was a part of the Sheila Witkin Memorial Reunion Concert, which was held in memory of Ms. Witkin - a huge supporter of Rock Music in South Florida. Public Enemies trailer | Johnny live in South Florida!

Even though the film is not finished, the trailer for Public Enemies should be ready on this Christmas. 

It is said that Johnny, together with his former band The Kids, will headline 2 South Florida concerts next weekend. The Kids will join the Romantics and other local South Florida Bands from the 80s for The 2nd annual Sheila Witkin Memorial Reunion Concert August 29th & 30th at Club Cinema in Pompano Beach.  Click HERE for more information.

Johnny confirmed 'Alice in Wonderland'

Entertainment Weekly has confirmed that Johnny will play the Mad Hatter in Tim Burtin’s 3D Version of Alice in Wonderland. It is not known yet whether it will be live-action or animated but if it is animated Johnny will
provide the voice.
